How it works

1. Fill 10 positions. Prop, Hooker, Lock, Flanker, Number 8, Scrum-half, Fly-half, Centre, Wing, Fullback.
2. See the stats, or don't. Toggle "See the stats" off before you start and you'll draft blind — no ratings shown, players listed alphabetically instead of best-first.
3. Spin. Hit the spin button and the game randomly lands on a real nation's squad from a real World Cup (New Zealand 1987, South Africa 1995, England 2003...). Not happy with it? Spin again, no limit.
4. Pick a player. Choose anyone from that squad who still has an open slot in your XV. Spin again for the next one. Repeat until all 10 are filled, mixing nations and decades however it lands.
5. Build chemistry. Players from the same nation link up, and players who were literally on the same World Cup squad link up even harder.
6. Then pick a mode — once your XV is full: Regular Competition (all 24 real nations that qualified for the 2027 World Cup, in order, no elimination — perfect is 24-0); World Cup (pick any tournament, 1987 through the real 2027 draw, and play a real run through that year's actual bracket — one loss ends it); or Gauntlet (the 10 highest real Elo team-seasons ever recorded, back to back — you play all 10 no matter what).
